The spacious rooms had a unique touch with in-room hot springs that were a welcome feature after a long day. The tennis court was a highlight, providing a great way to unwind with a match against a friend.

The bathroom faucet for the hot springs was constantly running and positioned next to the bed, creating a loud environment that made it hard to sleep. the heating was a fixed system and left the room swelteringly hot at night, with the only option to crack open a window—hardly ideal. It was also disappointing that one of the rotenburo’s was closed during my stay, limiting the onsen experience.
